We show a range because real work is messier than any estimate: exceptions, learning time and changing volumes mean you rarely get the full saving. The one-time price stays the same in every row; only the savings change.

A few things worth knowing

How are the savings calculated?

Time tasks: monthly volume × minutes each ÷ 60 × 12 × the estimated part automated. Hours × your hourly staff cost gives the money value. Mistakes: monthly mistakes × cost each × 12 × the part avoided. Spending: monthly spending × 12 × the part reduced.

Why not assume everything can be automated?

People still need to review exceptions and make decisions. Each task has its own estimated automation percentage, shown in the summary. These are starting assumptions; the audit checks what is realistic.

What hourly cost should I use?

Include wages and employer costs, not just take-home pay. The starting value is €35 an hour; replace it with your own estimate. A zero rate still shows time saved but gives that time no monetary value.

What does break-even month mean?

It is the first whole month when cumulative estimated savings cover the one-time price. We assume savings start immediately and are steady each month. Small savings can take more than a year; zero savings cannot cover a positive price.

Is saved time the same as money in the bank?

Not necessarily. Saved hours often mean more capacity, less overtime, or fewer delays—not lower payroll. The estimate excludes taxes, financing, implementation delays, maintenance, and third-party running costs. First-year net benefit is annual savings minus the one-time price.

Can I combine tasks?

Yes, if they are separate pieces of work. Do not count the same time or cost twice. Monthly figures are repeated for 12 months, so adjust seasonal work to an average month. Only time-based tasks contribute to hours saved.
